All Kingswood wooden playsets start with a Kingswood Low Tower. The additional purchase of a Top Deck allows you to ‘grow’ the Kingswood Low Tower to its full height format. - The Top Deck consists of a platform which could be enclosed on all 4 sides (the requisite wood is supplied) with an internal access ladder.
- To add a Top Deck, simply remove the roof of the Kingswood Low Tower, add the Top Deck and then replace the roof again.
- The Rapide Slide is suitable for use off the ‘first’ floor of the tower only; the CrazyWavy Slide can be used off either platform of the wooden climbing frame
- To add swings to your Kingswood Tower, choose either a Kingswood Single or Double Swing Arm and build it in its full height format. All fixings are supplied with the Swing Arms to accommodate up to one or two Duo Rides respectively. Alternatively most Single Seaters in the tp range, including a baby seat, are compatible so even the youngest family member can join in too. (Please note only one Skyride may be attached to the Double Swing Arm).
- For additional climbing challenges the Horizontal Hoops make a great addition to the Kingswood Tower wooden climbing frame in this full height format. Supplied as a set of 6 hoops, they are made from galvanised steel and make clambering up the outside of the Tower a great alternative to climbing within it.
- A Kingswood Climbing Wall is another optional climbing accessory for the climbing frame. This can be attached at an angle to any rung of the Tower or vertically to the Kingswood Accessory Arm.
- Other possible add ons for the Accessory Arm include the Climbing Rope , Rope Ladder or Twizzler 2
- Guaranteed to last - Kingswood timber is covered by a Lifetime Guarantee against wood rot. All galvanised steel parts on the Kingswood are covered by a Lifetime Guarantee against rust causing failure.
- The Kingswood range is made from pressure treated squared and shaped pine with galvanised steel
- The pine is cut to size, cross cut to length and planed to round its corners. It is then kiln dried and pressure treated. Kingswood does not need to be stained but you may choose to do so for aesthetic reasons. If you do, choose a water based stain available at good DIY shops. Is a Kingswood Triple Swing Arm available?
No. There is only the Single and Double Swing Arm available for the Kingswood.
Do you need to purchase a special bracket to attach the tp Duo Rides to the Swing Arm.?
The brackets that come with the Kingswood are suitable to use for Duo Rides and standard single swing seats. There is no need to purchase any other brackets.
Can you provide an assembly service?
All our frames are sold as self assembly and we do not provide a building service. However our Platinum Stockists do offer this additional service for which there will be a charge. Is there a free standing swing available in the Kingswood range?
No, there is no freestanding swing available in the Kingswood range. Swing Arms are available to attach to the Kingswood Tower when built at either toddler or full height.
Can you stain the Kingswood timber?
All Kingswood timber is pressure treated so staining is not necessary. However, if you do wish to stain it for aesthetic reasons, use any good water based wood stain available from a reputable DIY store
What does lifetime guarantee mean?
TP's lifetime guarantee against rust causing failure and wood rot applies to the first purchaser only and is intended to cover the play lifetime of the children for whom it was bought. This period normally equates to a maximum of ten years from date of purchase. This manufacturer' s guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
What does rust causing failure mean?
The guarantee covers failure due to rust which is defined as a perforation or breakage of the steel tubing.Nuts, bolts and fittings are not covered by the lifetime guarantee. The guarantee is not a cover against surface rust for which maintenance instructions are included with the product. We advise that should surface rust appear it should be rubbed down with course sandpaper or wire wool and retouched with a non toxic galvanised paint suitable for outdoor use.
